Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC), Jaji, Air Vice Marshal Lawal Alao, on Wednesday 24 January 2018, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, who is a member of the Governing Board of the College.
The Commandant, who assumed office recently, used the maiden visit to appreciate the constant support of the NAF, particularly in the area of airlift of students of the institution during study tours to other African countries and within Nigeria.
He then solicited for more support from the NAF in the areas of infrastructural development, amongst others.
In his response, the CAS commended the renewed vigor of the College towards enthroning qualitative training for officers and men of the Armed Forces of Nigeria.

This move, he noted, is very vital to ending the security challenges currently confronting the country.
The CAS advised the College to integrate more of its programmes and exercise scenarios to reflect the current Internal Security realities in the country.
Air Marshal Sadique also reiterated the need for the College to expose students from the various Services to the intricacies and peculiarities of sister Services so as to be abreast of the strengths and weaknesses of each Service.
According to him, this would no doubt go a long way in ensuring the success of future joint operations.
It would be recalled that AVM Alao was the Chief of Administration at the NAF Headquarters before his appointment as the Commandant of AFCSC.
