Magu not arrested – DSS
Contrary to the news gaining ground in a section of the media, the Acting Chariman, EFCC, Mr Ibrahim Magu was not arrested by the Department of State Services.
In a terse statement released by the Public Relations Officer, Department of State Services ices, Dr Peter Afunanya, the Service stated that it did not arrest the embattled acting Chairman of EFCC, Ibrahim Magu. According to Afunanya, the Service has been inundated with inquiries about the reported arrest.

MAGU, NOT ARRESTED BY DSS
The Department of State Services (DSS) wishes to inform the public that it did not arrest Ibrahim MAGU, Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as has been reported by sections of the media. The Service, has since, today, 6th July, 2020, been inundated with enquiries over the alleged arrest.
