Nigerian Army commences construction of ‘Reference Hospital’ in Abakaliki
The Nigerian Army will on Friday 7 August conduct Ground Breaking Ceremony of Nigerian Army Reference Hospital located at Nkwagu Cantonment Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

In a statement released by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, 82 Division, the hospital project when completed, will be a world class state of the art hospital that will meet the needs of Nigerian Army personnel and the civil populace in the South East region of the country.
“It will indeed boost the morale of troops and their families as well as contribute to the development of host community Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. The Executive Governor of Ebonyi State His Excellency Engr Dave Nwaeze Umahi will be the Special Guest of Honour at this important event”, the statement concluded.
