Colour and Spectacle as Nigerian Army decorates newly promoted Major Generals
Many families across the country are still in celebration mood following Friday’s decoration of the newly promoted Major Generals of the Nigerian Army.
The colorful ceremony which took place at the Command Officers Mess, Asokoro Abuja had the Honourable Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (rtd) as the Special Guest of Honour.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai at the event, urged the brand new Major Generals to make productive decisions that will enhance Nigeria’s national security interest and boost the economy of the country.
