Troops of 25 Task Force Brigade of the ‘Operation Hadin Kai have repelled attacks by some elements of Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State.
It was gathered that the terrorists attacked troops formation in the outskirt of Damboa-Biu Road. They came on six Guntrucks and motorcycles but were not able to cause any havoc.

The troops from the brigade promptly responded and pushed them back, killing a number of the invaders.
Reports had it that in the early hours of the day, the insurgents planted an improvised explosive device (IED) around Mandaragarau in Biu LGA, targeting at troops.
Unfortunately, it was a civilian vehicle that stepped on it, killing some passengers while others sustained various degrees of injuries.
