How ISWAP Fighters Met Their Waterloo in Doron Baga
*Fighters in frantic effort to evacuate dead, wounded colleagues
A large number of the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, terrorists have been killed in the North East, PRNigeria has learnt.
They were eliminated on Saturday by troops of the Nigerian military in Doron Baga, a community in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.
The ISWAP fighters, it was gathered, met their waterloo when they attempted to attack a military base in Doron Baga.

But they were ‘dealt with’ by gallant military forces, a top Army Commander involved in the operation told PRNigeria.
“Fighters of the terror group, armed with rocket propelled grenades and small arms rode on five gun trucks, to attack our Army formation in Bundiram yesterday. Their convoy arrived at about 2pm.
“But our troops engaged them in a fierce gun battle that lasted an hour, killing an unconfirmed number of the terrorists, while others escaped with injuring,” he said.
According to the Army Commander, some surviving insurgents were sighted evacuating their dead and wounded fighters through Daban Masara, Madayi and Gratai axis.
