Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, JRB Solar boss
The Founder and Chief Executive of JRB Solar Investment Limited, an indigenous alternative energy conglomerate, Jimoh Rauf Badamosi, has concluded arrangements to float the Rauf Badomosi Foundation (RBF) for humanitarian and community development services.
The foundation which is in memory of his late father, Alhaji Rauf Badamosi, is being established with the sole purpose of positively impacting the lives of indigent and vulnerable members of the society and underprivileged communities across the country.
Speaking to ourreporters in his office, the JRB boss who is renowned for his unparalleled philanthropy said his driving force is simply to make life better for the less privileged and communities in distress.
“RBF is dedicated to improving the quality of life of vulnerable and indigent members of the society by empowering them and creating opportunities that will enable them to build more sustainable future for themselves, and to discourage recourse to anti-social activities.
“The Foundation will also support distressed communities by complementing the efforts of local authorities and governments in providing the much needed infrastructures”.

Originally from Osun State, Jimoh Rauf Badamosi (JRB) was born and raised in Enugu State. Prior to the floating of the foundation, JRB is well known across many communities in Enugu State, Kogi, Osun and Benue states where he had extended his community development and philanthropic services where he had constructed and rehabilitated access roads, refurbished essential amenities including schools and health facilities, markets.
He has also single-handedly provided electricity transformers, street lights, water boreholes to several distressed communities in those states. He has also empowered indigent members of the society, disbursed start-up and scale-up grants and equipment to mostly women and youth.
“Our plan is to streamline our community services and philanthropic efforts and collapse them into one funding basket for easy management and for better impact to our beneficiaries. That is what Foundation is all about”, he said.
