Contractors Associations Commend Sincere Intention of NDDC Management, Pledge Co-operation
The Niger Delta Indigenous Contractors Association (NDICA) and the Contractors Association of NDDC (CAoN) have commended the sincere intention of the new board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to do things differently in the interest of the region. The groups also pledged to work in collaboration with the Commission to address some of their lingering concerns.

In a statement issued by the President of Niger Delta Indigenous Contractors Association, Chief Dressman Darlington, following an interactive session held by the Samuel Ogbuku-led NDDC Management team with Contractors on Thursday, February 9 2023, the contractors associations stated that they have confidence in the ability of the new board to do things differently and in line with Mr President’s vision and mission.
Reacting to the payment discounting proposal presented by the Commission, Chief Dressman Darlinton stated that Contractors are encouraged to take full advantage of the window in view of the very sincere intentions of the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, and his team to ameliorate the sufferings of Contractors.
Chief Dressman Darlinton pleaded with Board and Management of NDDC to consider the plight of contractors and proffer solutions to some of the concerns they raised during the interactive session.
This is the first time in the last eight years that the Commission has engaged Contractors in an interactive session meant to listen to their concerns and to seek suggestions on way forward.
