Troops eliminate terrorist commander, gun runner Abu Mosaje; arrest wanted kidnapping kingpin, Gora Usman
A notorious terrorist commander and gunrunner, Abu Mosaje, has been confirmed killed in the north central battle theatre. Reports indicate that troops of the Nigerian military neutralized the terrorist kingpin in Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State.
The troops also captured a wanted kidnapping kingpin that was on a security watch list identified as Babangida Gora Usman, in Sanga LGA of Kaduna State.
As troops intensified ongoing counterterrorism and counterinsurgency operations across the nation, 28 perpetrators of oil theft were arrested in the sout-south region of the country. In all, troops neutralized 79 and arrested 224 persons. Troops also arrested 28 perpetrators of oil theft and rescued 67 kidnapped hostages in one week.

Making this significant success recorded by the armed forces of Nigeria public, the Director, Defence Media Operations, DMO, Major General Edward Buba in a press release on Friday said the troops remain steadfast in the destruction of terrorists across the country.
According to the director, in the SS, troops denied the oil theft of the estimated sum of Seven Hundred and Forty Seven Million Secenty Thousand Seven Hundred and Ten Naira (N747,070,710.00) only.
Buba said the operations particularly targeted not just the terrorist but their network of collaborators, informants, and support base.
Following the intensified operations, “troops arrested another notorious gunrunner and his son identified as Timothy Yusuf and Timothy Obadiah”, the DMO director said.
