Foundations Roll Out Free Medical Outreach in Kaduna Community to Honour CDS Musa
Residents of Mabuhu Zonzon in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area, Kaduna State, are set to benefit from a two-day free medical outreach organised in honour of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR.
The initiative, spearheaded by the Tukur Yusuf Buratai Humanity Care Foundation, the Tukur & Tukur Foundation, and the Southern Kaduna AIDS Foundation (SKAID), will hold on Thursday, September 4, and Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Primary Health Care Centre, Mabuhu Zonzon, Zangon Kataf Local Government Area. Activities will commence daily at 9:00 a.m.

According to the organisers, the outreach will feature free medical consultations, treatments, and drug distribution, as well as eye screening, eye care, and ENT (ear, nose, and throat) treatment. The programme is aimed at addressing pressing health needs within rural communities while easing the burden of access to healthcare.
Residents have been encouraged to spread the word to friends, families, and relations, particularly those battling health challenges, so they can take full advantage of the humanitarian exercise.
Brigadier General Tukur Gusau, Director of Defence Information, said the project reflects not only the humanitarian commitment of the partnering foundations but also the people-centric leadership style of General Musa.
The outreach is expected to improve healthcare delivery and enhance the well-being of communities in Southern Kaduna.
