Troops, NDLEA arrest nine suspected drug peddlers in Delta

Troops of 90 Amphibious Battalion, in collaboration with operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), have arrested nine suspected drug peddlers in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

Security sources told Zagazola Makama that the suspects were apprehended at about 11:40 p.m. on Sept. 26, 2026, during an operation within Oghara community.
The troops recovered 13 sachets of Tramadol (100mg), one carton of Codeine, two cartons of cough syrup, 25 grams of suspected cannabis and 25 sachets of cannabis-cake recipe.
The suspects and recovered items were subsequently handed over to the NDLEA office in Sapele for further investigation and appropriate action.
