CDS Musa Hails Defence Minister Badaru on 63rd Birthday, Praises Leadership and Patriotism
The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR, has extended warm felicitations to the Honourable Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the officers, men and women of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, General Musa lauded the Minister’s visionary leadership, humility, and unwavering patriotism, describing him as a statesman whose dedication has greatly strengthened Nigeria’s defence and security architecture.

According to the CDS, Alhaji Badaru’s steadfast support and wise counsel have been instrumental in inspiring the military in the discharge of its constitutional duties.
He further commended the Minister for fostering synergy among the Services and defence institutions, a move that has enhanced operational effectiveness and boosted the morale of troops across all theatres of operation.
“Alhaji Badaru’s exemplary leadership style has continued to encourage not only the Armed Forces but the entire nation,” General Musa noted.
While rejoicing with the Minister on his new age, the CDS prayed for God’s blessings of sound health, divine wisdom, and enduring strength upon him as he continues to serve the country with distinction.
