JUST IN: Bandits Bomb Bridge Linking Communities in Niger State
Residents of Niger State have been thrown into panic following the destruction of a critical bridge linking the Wawa and Luma communities in Borgu Local Government Area.
The incident, believed to have been carried out by suspected bandits, occurred in the early hours of Monday, cutting off a vital access route between the two agrarian communities.
Eyewitnesses reported hearing a loud explosion before dawn, after which the bridge was found severely damaged and rendered impassable.
