Troops Rescue Two Kidnap Victims After Four Months in Captivity

Troops of Sector 2 of Operation Enduring Peace have rescued two kidnap victims in Dogon Ruwa Village, Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State, after spending about four months in captivity.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the victims were rescued at about 9:50 a.m. on July 15 during military operations in the area.
Preliminary findings revealed that the victims were abducted on March 15, 2026, at Kamna Village in Karim Lamido Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The rescued victims are currently in the custody of security personnel, where they are receiving necessary care and undergoing preliminary debriefing before being reunited with their families.
