Army Recruitment Director Intensifies Nationwide Monitoring of 91RRI Screening Exercise
The Director of Recruitment at the Nigerian Army Headquarters (AHQ), Brigadier General I. Sule, has continued his nationwide assessment and monitoring of centres participating in the ongoing 91 Regular Recruits Intake (91RRI) screening exercise, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to a transparent and merit-driven recruitment process.
As part of the latest phase of the monitoring exercise, Brigadier General Sule and his team visited recruitment screening centres in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Kogi State on June 18, 2026. The visits followed earlier inspections of recruitment centres in Nasarawa, Enugu, Imo, Bayelsa and Delta states.
The nationwide tour is aimed at evaluating the conduct of the screening exercise across participating states and ensuring strict compliance with established recruitment guidelines and procedures.

During the visits, the Director engaged with Temporary Recruitment Officers and other key stakeholders involved in the exercise. He also conducted on-the-spot assessments of screening activities to evaluate the progress and effectiveness of the recruitment process.
Brigadier General Sule reiterated the Nigerian Army’s resolve to uphold fairness, transparency and merit in the ongoing recruitment exercise. He assured candidates that the selection process would remain credible and free from undue influence, urging them to remain focused and perform to the best of their abilities throughout the screening stages.
The ongoing 91 Regular Recruits Intake screening exercise is a critical component of the Nigerian Army’s efforts to attract qualified and competent individuals into its ranks, in line with its mandate of strengthening national security and operational effectiveness.
The monitoring exercise is expected to continue across other designated recruitment centres nationwide as the Army seeks to ensure uniform standards and integrity throughout the recruitment process.
