The operation was conducted by troops of Sector 1 deployed in Otukpo, working alongside the OPWS tracking team.

During the operation, the troops recovered nine rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition, one empty cartridge, a knife and other miscellaneous items suspected to be connected with the criminal activities.

The four suspects and recovered exhibits are currently in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.

Troops have continued to sustain intelligence-driven operations in collaboration with other security agencies to track down criminal elements and protect vulnerable communities.
